I can honestly say myself, partner and our 2 children aged 6 & 7 had an amazing night get away here! EVERYTHING was thought of! We did not know what to expect with what amenities and equipment would be at the lodge! So we took a few bags but we did not need anything other than a bag of food and drinks! The kids were so impressed with the swing ball, hula hoops and badminton set from in the shed! They also loved the hot tub! I was beyond amazed with the little additional touches in the love e.g air fryer & ice maker! I have recommended to all of my family and friends! We will be returning again both with the kids and just alone as a couple too! Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

Had a great stay here, bbq, hot tub and lodge were all excellent. Great to have a big grass area too to enjoy the sunshine. One small improvement is the kitchen could have used some chopping boards and a bread knife, but otherwise really well equipped! Would happily stay again.

We stayed here for just one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The setting is beautiful and peaceful and the cabins have their own privacy which is perfect. The facilities are amazing and they have thought of everything. The cabin we stayed in was clean and cosy and the air conditioning was a god send as it was 30 degrees! The hot tub heated quicker than we anticipated so we had to let it cool off a bit but it was so lovely and we really enjoyed using it. We lit the outside fire which was again was so wonderful to have. The stargazing from here is superb as no light pollution and we were lucky to see meteors. I cannot recommend this place enough it’s a gem and we will return. Thank you to the owners for putting so much thought into giving their guests a pleasant stay. We had dinner at the nearby 8 bells which served stunning food and is a beautiful historic building and the service was fantastic.

The cabin itself was clean, although the little oven is probably overdue for a Mr Muscle clean. The hot tub was decent but does get too hot if you’re not careful. Best to be cautious with adding logs! This is down to the user. It’s easy enough to use and there is an instructional video. The towels were awfully ragged. They should’ve been replaced months ago. I’m surprised they’re still in use. One of them ripped as I was drying myself and all of them were frayed. The privacy here isn’t great, more comparable to a camp site than a secluded getaway. You could see over to the next plot when climbing up to the hot tub and you can quite clearly hear people in either side talking. Other guests were respectful and now at all rowdy. Maybe in time the plants will grow to a height that provides more privacy. Overall it was a decent stay but falls short of 5 stars.

We had an awesome time. The cabins are so well layed out and everything is thought of. Plenty of board games etc for the kids and just everything you need in the kitchen. We had a BBQ outside whilst the log fired hot tube was warming up. It just felt like we were camping out in the wilderness and it was so relaxing. We noticed in the shed at the bottom of the garden were outdoor games, but it was to cold and wet for that in the end of November. We enjoyed it so much that we booked again the day we checked out and we are looking forward to going back at Easter.

Great value for money. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy . Great location and view and the Hot tub was amazing but be careful you don’t put too much wood in or it’ll get too hot .
